Migdaliz Berrios Selected as Director of the Columbia County Center

Augusta Technical College is pleased to announce Migdaliz Berrios as the new Site Director for the Columbia County Center in Grovetown.

Berrios is an accomplished administrator with over 15 years of experience in higher education. As the newly appointed Director for the Augusta Technical College Grovetown location, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven record of driving strategic growth and innovation.

Before joining Augusta Technical College, Ms. Berrios was an Executive Financial Advisor at the University of Phoenix, where she led successful initiatives in student services and veteran affairs. Under her most recent leadership in the Military Service Center, Ms. Berrios spearheaded a significant digital transformation, which contributed to the college’s overall success.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Berrios is known for her innovative approach. She is enthusiastic about fostering a culture of continuous improvement, community service, and advocacy. Ms. Berrios has been recognized with numerous awards and honors throughout her career. She most recently received the President’s Award for Innovation and Excellence 2023, the NISOD Excellence Award 2024, and the Paragon Award for New Advisors.

Ms. Berrios holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She is also an active member of the Hispanic Cultural Association of CSRA, Hispanic Outreach and Leadership Association (HOLA), Advisor for Phi Theta Kappa, and an Advisor for the Student Veterans of America Chapter of Augusta Tech.
