Augusta Commissioners Say They Haven’t Discussed Future for Interim Administrator When She is Replaced

For months, Augusta leaders have talked about making a change at the top: replacing Interim Administrator Takiyah Douse, but some commissioners say Douse’s future also needs to be part of the conversation.
“I don’t know what they’re thinking. I don’t know what they are planning and quite frankly I don’t think that they know either. So next Tuesday, we’ll see how all of this unfolds,” said Commissioner Jordan Johnson.
