City Leaders And Businesses Optimistic About Future of Regency Mall Site

It’s been 20 years since Regency Mall in Augusta shut its doors. City leaders and businesses are still hopeful a potential redevelopment project can turn the area around.
Cardinale Management, who’s owned the property for years, met with potential partners and developers as late as last week. Meanwhile, a charter school is expected to break ground on the property within the next few weeks.
