Goodwill Reminds Community of Upcoming Career & Resource Expo

Goodwill of Middle Georgia and the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) is excited to remind the community about its upcoming Career & Resource Expo, happening on Monday, September 9, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Snelling Conference Center, 3165 Washington Road, Augusta, GA 30907. This event is generously sponsored by ADP, the Georgia Department of Corrections, Medical Associates Plus, and Augusta Staffing.
This free event aims to connect local job seekers with hiring employers and provide resources for those looking to advance their careers. Attendees will have access to local businesses and community organizations offering career opportunities, professional guidance, and support services.

This free event will offer job seekers the opportunity to connect with local employers and explore a variety of career resources.
Attendees will have the chance to meet with representatives from a wide range of companies, including Augusta Staffing & Job Shop, Richmond County School System, Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, Wellstar MCG Health, Columbia County School District, Auben Realty, Hyatt Place Augusta, City of Augusta, All Ways Caring Home Care, and DayBreak Adult Care Services Inc. Additionally, employers such as Augusta University Human Resources, Maxim Healthcare Services, Sevita, Masters Tournament, Medical Associates Plus, Bettis Preparatory Leadership Academy, Home2 Suites Grovetown, Augusta State Medical Prison, Addus Homecare, Spherion Staffing, Advance Industrial Mechanical, Waffle House, SRP Federal Credit Union, First Step Staffing, Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center, Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Fifth Third Bank, and the Sexual Assault Response Center will be on-site to discuss potential job openings. Goodwill will also be present, offering attendees a look into the resources available through their various career services.
In addition to meeting with employers, attendees will benefit from resources provided by local community organizations, including Golden Harvest Food Bank, GAP Ministries, Harris Literacy Center, CareSource, ReNforce, Troy University, and Walton Options Resources for Independent Living. Helms College and Helms Career Education will also be on hand to provide insights into educational and training opportunities available for career advancement.
