Lost Pets in Local Animal Shelters After Hurricane Helene

It’s been nearly a month since Hurricane Helene hit the CSRA, and local animal shelters are still recovering.
Both the Aiken County Animal Shelter and the SPCA Albrecht Center were out of power for more than a week – presenting challenges neither shelter was prepared for.
