Overnight Lane Closures Planned on I-20 at the Georgia-South Carolina State Line

Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) construction partners will implement overnight lane closures as part of the I-20 at Savannah River Bridge project for roadway diamond grinding.

Thursday, October 17, 9 p.m. until Friday, October 18, 6 a.m.

Nighttime, single-lane closure on I-20 westbound from mile marker (MM) 1 in South Carolina to MM 200 in Georgia. The westbound, left-hand lane will be closed at 9 p.m. and closure will be out of the roadway without any unexpected delays at 6 a.m.
Friday, October 18, 10 p.m. until Saturday, October 19, 6 a.m.

Nighttime, single-lane closure on I-20 westbound from mile marker (MM) 1 in South Carolina to MM 200 in Georgia. The westbound, left-hand lane will be closed at 10 p.m. and closure will be out of the roadway without any unexpected delays at 6 a.m.
Saturday, October 19, 8 p.m. until Sunday, October 20, 6 a.m.

Nighttime, single-lane closure on I-20 westbound from mile marker (MM) 1 in South Carolina to MM 200 in Georgia. The westbound, left-hand lane will be closed at 8 p.m. and closure will be out of the roadway without any unexpected delays at 6 a.m.
Sunday, October 20, 9 p.m. until Monday, October 21, 6 a.m.

Nighttime, single-lane closure on I-20 westbound from mile marker (MM) 1 in South Carolina to MM 200 in Georgia. The westbound, left-hand lane will be closed at 9 p.m. and closure will be out of the roadway without any unexpected delays at 6 a.m.
During this time, the shoulders of I-20 eastbound and westbound may also be impacted. Motorists are advised to expect delays and drive with caution through the work zone.
