For the second consecutive year, Columbia County’s Procurement Department has been awarded the prestigious 2024 Annual Achievement of Excellence in Procurement (AEP) from the National Procurement Institute, Inc. (NPI).

The AEP Award is earned by agencies that demonstrate a commitment to procurement excellence and serves as affirmation that our procurement team meets or exceeds industry standards.

Out of 198 international recipients, Columbia County was one of eleven government agencies in the state of Georgia to receive this prestigious award. Mrs. Leanne Reece, Director of Internal Services, states, “I am incredibly proud to congratulate the Procurement Department for winning the 2024 Annual Achievement of

Excellence in Procurement (AEP) award for the second consecutive year. This recognition speaks volumes about their unwavering commitment and dedication to Columbia County. They consistently strive for excellence, and their impact is felt throughout the county. Most recently, their invaluable contributions in securing contracts and supporting recovery efforts after the damage caused by Hurricane Helene have been nothing short of outstanding. This award is a reflection of the exceptional service they provide every day, and I am honored to work alongside such a dedicated team.”
