Downtown Soul City is proud to present the 4th annual Small Business Saturday (SBS) Crawl in downtown Augusta, GA on Saturday, November 30th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Small Business Saturday is a day to shop local, discover new treasures, and connect with your community.
According to John Porter, Downtown Soul City Director, this year marks the 4th annual Small Business Saturday Crawl, where 15 local businesses will be welcoming the community with activities and pop-ups, as well as offering great deals. Porter says, “This year, we’re thrilled to include several restaurants and cafés in the crawl. Each participating business will be offering something unique for the community to enjoy.”
“Shopping local for your holiday gifts ensures that your loved ones receive a thoughtful and personal gift. The effort made to visit stores in person and spend your money in Augusta contributes greatly to the success of our local economy,” says Sarah Childers, Director of Destination Experiences at Destination Augusta. “We hope that any first-time event patrons will become recurring, engaged customers at our unique locally owned businesses.”
The SBS Crawl kicks off at 10:00 AM on November 30th at Augusta & Co., 1010 Broad Street, where the first 150 shoppers will receive complimentary locally designed canvas totes and Crawl maps. Each of the sponsoring businesses is also donating items and gift cards for gift baskets. Participants can enter to win a gift basket with each purchase at a store on the crawl.
Tara Wood, Media and Communications Coordinator for the Downtown Development Authority of Augusta says, “Small Business Saturday is a vital boost for the local economy in downtown Augusta, fostering community spirit and keeping dollars circulating within our neighborhoods. By supporting local shops and services, residents contribute to job creation, unique offerings, and the vibrant character that makes our city thrive.”
