Columbia County Parks, Recreation, and Events invites you to Christmas in Columbia County on Thursday, December 5th, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm in Downtown Evans. A special thank you to our sponsor, Doctors Hospital of Augusta, for helping make this magical evening possible.

This year’s celebration promises something for everyone to enjoy: Unique Gifts & Festive Cheer: Stroll through The Plaza and The Market Building, starting at 4:00 pm, where over 100 vendors will be showcasing handcrafted gifts, seasonal treats, and festive decorations. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re looking for the perfect gift or simply want to enjoy the festive atmosphere.

Capture Memories with Santa or the Grinch: Don’t miss the chance to snap a photo with Santa Claus or The Grinch! They’ll be available for photos from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm and again from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, creating lasting memories for the whole family.

Live Music: Get into the holiday spirit with live music throughout the evening, starting at 4:00 pm. Enjoy festive tunes that will fill the air as you explore the event.

Dazzling Tree Lighting Ceremony: The highlight of the night! Gather with us at 6:30 pm at Evans Towne Center Park for the spectacular Tree Lighting Ceremony, marking the official start of the holiday season in Columbia County.

Enchanting Christmas Lights: The magic of the season comes alive as the Evans Towne Center Park is beautifully illuminated with twinkling Christmas lights, creating a picturesque holiday wonderland.
