North Augusta Chamber Women in Business Luncheon: “How to Be Heart Smart” in Support of Go Red for Women Month
Wednesday, February 19th, 2025
Join us for a powerful and informative event in support of Go Red for Women Month at the Women in Business Luncheon on Thursday, February 20th, at 11:30 a.m. at the North Augusta Community Center (495 Brookside Avenue). This event will feature Dr. Jennifer McNear, a General Cardiologist with Piedmont Augusta, who will share her expertise on heart health and prevention during the talk titled "How to Be Heart Smart."
Dr. McNear, who is passionate about heart disease prevention, attended Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine training at Fort Eisenhower. She furthered her cardiology training at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. Her special interest in preventative care and her experience in treating patients makes her a trusted voice in understanding and preventing heart disease—especially in women.
Attendees will enjoy a heart-healthy lunch, provided by Something So Right Events & Catering, while learning vital information to help them prioritize their heart health. The luncheon will also support the American Heart Association’s national movement to end heart disease and stroke in women.
We encourage all attendees to wear red in solidarity with the American Heart Association's mission to raise awareness for women’s heart health. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with local businesswomen while learning crucial steps to protect your heart. We look forward to seeing you there!
Advanced registration is required at NorthAugustaChamber.org; $30 for Chamber members and $35 for Visitors. For more information, contact the chamber at (803) 279-2323 or email [email protected].
