Columbia County Parks, Recreation, and Events Announces Exciting Spring Event Season

Columbia County Parks, Recreation, and Events is excited to kick off its highly anticipated spring event season, featuring a variety of activities for all ages.

From lively markets and food truck gatherings to fun runs and cultural celebrations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The season begins with the Glow Run on Friday, March 14th, at 7:00 PM at Patriots Park. Participants of all ages are invited to light up the night on a fun-filled, glowing course. Registration is required for this event.

The following day, join us for the return of the popular Evans Market, presented by Queensborough National Bank & Trust, on Saturday, March 15th, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at

The Market. Explore a wide selection of local produce, handmade goods, and unique artisan creations. This event is free to attend.

On Friday, March 21st, the first Food Truck Friday of the season will take place at Gateway Park from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Enjoy a variety of delicious food truck offerings, perfect for a night out with family and friends. This event is also free to attend.

The month concludes with the Columbia County Cultural Festival on Saturday, March 29th, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Evans Towne Center Park, presented by Club Car. This vibrant celebration of diversity will feature music, dance, art, and cuisine from a variety of cultures, offering a truly engaging experience for all. Admission is free.
