Downtown Augusta Business at Risk of Losing Alcohol License

There’s still no decision on whether a downtown Augusta business will lose its alcohol license after being found in violation of multiple county ordinances. Tiffany’s Eatery & Lounge is under scrutiny following a joint investigation by Code Enforcement and the Richmond County Sheriff's Office, which revealed the establishment had been serving alcohol past allowable hours.

In November, Tiffany’s requested permission for Sunday alcohol sales. However, law enforcement says the move—originally intended to boost revenue—has instead led to ongoing problems.
