Chamber Welcomes New Leadership Augusta Coordinator

The Augusta Metro Chamber is pleased to welcome Miranda Ewing to the team as the new Leadership Augusta Coordinator. In this role, Miranda will work with the Leadership Augusta volunteer team to develop and execute its programs including the annual Leadership Augusta Program, the annual Executive Forum Program, as well as support alumni events, marketing and fundraising. She will also be integral in executing and supervising Youth Leadership Augusta. Miranda began her role at the beginning of June.
Miranda brings a strong background in community engagement, volunteer coordination, and service leadership to this role. Most recently, she served as Director of Volunteers at the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare, where she developed and managed impactful community programs and fostered a culture of compassion and collaboration. Her career also includes work with United Cerebral Palsy as a Community Living Coach and as a substitute teacher with the Richmond County School System. Miranda earned her bachelor’s degree in Interrelated Early Childhood and Special Education from Valdosta State University and she holds an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Gainesville State College.
