SRP Federal Credit Union proudly supported United Way of the CSRA’s 2025 Stuff the Bus drive. This back-to-school program provides essential supplies like bookbags, notebooks, and art supplies for K-12 students in the local community. SRP contributed both school supplies and valuable volunteer hours to the initiative.

SRP’s company-wide effort involved setting up collection boxes in its branches and at its administrative campus. Additionally, SRP team members volunteered their time to organize and pack school supplies at the Salvation Army Kroc Center of Augusta.

United Way of the CSRA’s Stuff the Bus collection drive distributes school supplies to students in Richmond, Columbia, and Burke counties and surrounding areas within the CSRA. SRP joined several other local companies and organizations in supporting the campaign, including the Augusta Greenjackets at SRP Park.

Among the dedicated SRP team members who volunteered to sort, label, and pack school supplies was Yvonne Meeks, a Community Development Representative who also serves on the Executive Committee of United Way of the CSRA’s Board of Directors. Meeks expressed her pride in the work contributed by SRP employees to the Stuff the Bus program.

“Many families in our communities have to make the tough decision of: ‘Do we buy groceries this week, or school supplies?’” said Meeks. “These donations ease that financial burden for at least 900 families in the three-county area.”

Guided by the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People,” SRP Federal Credit Union is committed to uplifting education across the 10 counties it serves. SRP is proud to support local students and educators through programs like United Way’s Stuff the Bus.
