Augusta Regional Airport Announces Return of the Second Daily DFW Daily Flight!
Tuesday, August 26th, 2025
Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) is excited to announce that American Airlines is bringing back a second daily flight to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). This new daily service will start on October 7, 2025.
The new flight will depart AGS at 7:07 a.m., providing an early-morning option that complements the existing 4:30 p.m. DFW service. This gives travelers more flexibility and connectivity. Both flights will use CRJ-900 aircraft, which have first-class seating.
“With the addition of this second DFW flight, Augusta travelers will now enjoy approximately 150 direct daily seats between AGS and DFW,” said Herbert L. Judon, Jr., Airport Executive Director. “We are extremely grateful to American Airlines for this expanded service. DFW has consistently performed well out of AGS, and this new early-morning option provides our customers greater access — particularly those needing westward connections or early-morning arrivals in the Dallas metroplex. This is a need we have been hearing from our customers for some time, and we are pleased to see it come to fruition.”
This expansion highlights Augusta Regional Airport’s commitment to meeting the needs of the region’s travelers and strengthening its partnerships with leading airlines. You can book your flight today by visiting www.FlyAGS.com.
