Chamber Hosts Breakfast on Leveraging Tax Credits to Power Economic Development

The North Augusta Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce tan informative breakfast focused on the role of tax credits in driving business growth and community development. The program, titled “Leveraging Tax Credits to Power Economic Development in North Augusta”, will be held on Thursday, August 14th at the North Augusta Community Center.

The breakfast will feature Andrew Porio with Tax Credit Marketplace, LLC and J.D. McCauley with the City of North Augusta. Porio and McCauley will share insights on how local businesses, investors and developers can utilize available tax credit programs to expand operations, revitalize properties, and fuel long-term economic success.

“Tax credits are often underutilized tools that can make a significant difference in attracting investment and fostering economic growth, said Terra Carroll, President and CEO of the North Augusta Chamber of Commerce. “This session will give our business community the knowledge and resources they need to take full advantage of these opportunities.” The breakfast will also provide valuable networking time for local leaders, entrepreneurs, and community stakeholders to connect and collaborate.

Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of:

  • The role of public-private partnerships in economic development

The Chamber’s GMNA breakfast series is held at the North Augusta Community Center (495 Brookside Avenue) and begins at 7:30 am.
