Data To Be Delivered On Park Use As Augusta Commissioners Consider Closures

Some commissioners believe the camera doesn’t lie and they say if they show parks not being used, the city needs to move on.
“Absolutely, because George, what we are doing is wasting money on underutilized parks. The commonsense thing to do, like us from the private sector, if it’s not used, get rid of it,” said Mayor Pro-Tem Wayne Guilfoyle.
