Funding For Security Could Be Coming To Aiken County Schools

Some security upgrades could be coming to Aiken County Schools.
The School Board voted Tuesday, Aug. 26 to submit an application to receive funds allocated by the South Carolina Department of Education. The Appropriations Act will distribute up to $20 million to public school districts for improvements, and Aiken County has applied for about 500,000 dollars.
