The Georgia-Carolina Council, Scouting America proudly announces that Madden
McNatt, Caleb Noftsger, and Landon Perry have earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest
advancement rank in Scouting America.
Fewer than six percent of Scouts nationwide attain the rank of Eagle, which requires demonstrating
leadership, living the principles of the Scout Oath and Law, earning at least 21 merit badges, and
completing a significant service project that benefits the community.
McNatt’s Eagle project involved improving Grovetown High School’s obstacle course by adding a low
crawl to create a more diverse and unique obstacle course to better prepare the JROTC for competition.
Noftsger’s Eagle project provided two youth lacrosse clinics for new lacrosse players to help Harlem,
Evans, and Grovetown grow their lacrosse programs and inspire youth to play.
Perry’s Eagle project focused on building 4 picnic tables at the Crossbridge Campus of Warren Church to
provide seating areas near the new playground equipment.
“Reaching Eagle Scout is a tremendous accomplishment,” said Dan Rogers, Scout Executive. “We are
very proud of Madden, Caleb, and Landon for their leadership and dedication to serving others.”
Their accomplishment highlights the values of character, citizenship, and leadership that Scouting instills
in youth. Georgia-Carolina Council is proud to see these Scouts carry the spirit of service forward into
their future endeavors.
