Augusta Administrator Recommends Tax Hike; Spending Cuts For 2026 Budget

The Administrator says she took no pleasure providing her 2026 budget recommendation that went double for commissioners hearing them.
“There is a deficit, and when working a deficit, you have to come up with a way you find some money,” said Commissioner Stacy Pulliam.
