Thursday, October 9th, 2025
Club Car®, a global leader in golf, personal transportation and utility vehicles, has generously provided five golf carts to the Georgia-Carolina Council, Scouting America, to support camp operations and educational programs. These vehicles will significantly enhance Scouting activities and community outreach in the region.
Four of the golf carts will be used at the Robert E. Knox Scout Reservation to support camp activities, streamlining transportation and logistics for Scouts and staff. One will be dedicated as a medical vehicle for the Doctors Hospital Health Lodge, ensuring rapid and efficient response to medical needs at the camp.
The fifth golf cart will be housed at the Nature & Adventure Center, where it will support STEAM School field trips in partnership with Richmond and Columbia County Schools, as well as a variety of Scout programs. This vehicle will assist mobility-challenged students, helping make outdoor educational experiences more accessible and inclusive.
“We are incredibly grateful to Club Car for their generous donation,” said Daniel Rogers, Scout Executive of the Georgia-Carolina Council. “These golf carts will enhance our ability to deliver impactful Scouting programs and ensure that all participants, including those with mobility challenges, can fully engage in our activities.”
“Providing these golf cars allows Scouts and visitors to explore, learn, and grow in the outdoors,” said Brandon Jaremski, Global Director of Validation and Prototype at Club Car. “We are proud to support the community and help make camp programs more accessible and engaging for everyone.”
