Developer Wins Rezoning Approval To Build New Starter Homes In West Augusta

The Augusta Commission on Tuesday approved a rezoning to build smaller homes next to a west Augusta church, over objections that it could harm a nearby subdivision's property values.Mayor Pro Tem Wayne Guilfoyle cast the sole "no" vote on a proposal to build up to 32 homes, each about 800-900 square feet, next to Good News Church at 400 Warren Rd.
