As the Government Shutdown continues, nearly 42 million people in the United States could lose SNAP benefits soon.

On November 1, SNAP benefits may pause or be delayed if the federal government doesn’t vote to pass a budget before then. Local food banks are gearing up for a rush as people who depend on those benefits scramble to feed their families.
