Compass for Hope Provides Necessities to Keep Homeless Warm During Holidays

As temperatures dip across the CSRA, one local organization is working to make sure neighbors experiencing homelessness have what they need to stay warm this holiday season.
Every Sunday, Compass for Hope sets up in the 7th Street parking lot of the James Brown Arena, offering services such as laundry cleaning, hot showers, snacks, clothing, and fellowship. This week, volunteers added another layer of support—handing out winter essentials to help people prepare for the cold weather.
