Doctors Hospital of Augusta has been named a top large-sized hospital for 2025 by Georgia Trend, outperforming hospitals across the state of Georgia.
Each year, Georgia Trend evaluates hospitals using data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Hospital Value-Based Purchasing program, measuring clinical outcomes, patient and community engagement, safety, efficiency, and cost reduction. Hospitals are compared within their size categories, and this year Doctors Hospital was ranked a top hospital among large hospitals (250+ beds) statewide.
