Healthcare Costs Surge for CSRA as ACA Subsidies Expire

The new year brought higher healthcare costs for many Americans after Affordable Care Act subsidies and tax credits expired at the end of 2025, with no definite plan to replace them.

The U.S. House of Representatives has passed a bill to extend those subsidies, but it still must pass the Senate. The open enrollment deadline of January 15 came and went with no final decision on an extension.
