Bridge Builder Communities is now accepting nominations for its Community Leader Award, a distinguished honor recognizing an individual who exemplifies what it truly means to be a bridge builder in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA).

The award will be presented during the organization’s Second Annual Bridge Builders Gala on May 16, celebrating a local leader whose commitment to service and leadership has gone above and beyond to strengthen, unite, and uplift the CSRA.

Designed to spotlight exceptional community impact, the Community Leader Award honors an individual who demonstrates sustained dedication to service, collaboration, and leadership that creates meaningful, lasting change. Nominees may come from any background and need not be affiliated with Bridge Builder Communities to be considered. The deadline for submitting nominations is April 3rd.

“Being a bridge builder is about more than caring about a cause; it’s about showing up, bringing people together, and creating pathways to opportunity,” said Jackson Drumgoole, Co-Founder and CEO of Bridge Builder Communities. “This award allows us to elevate leaders in our community who are doing that work every day and deserve recognition.”

Community members are encouraged to submit nominations for individuals who embody these values and whose leadership has made a measurable difference in the lives of others across the CSRA.
