The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce Dr. Quynh Spicer as the 2026 Businesswoman of the Year. The award, sponsored by Bank of America, was presented to Dr. Spicer on Wednesday afternoon at the chamber’s annual Woman of Influence Executive Luncheon presented by Piedmont Augusta. The prestigious honor recognizes a woman who has demonstrated exceptional dedication, leadership, and passion both professionally and personally.

“Dr. Spicer’s story is one of hard work, resilience, and service,” said Heath Taylor, President and CEO of the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce. “Her leadership, her entrepreneurial drive, and her unwavering commitment to serving others make a measurable impact on the CSRA and we are proud to honor her.”

Dr. Spicer is the founder of Thomson Family Dental, Harlem Family Dental, and Home Instead Augusta, organizations that have earned distinctions including Small Business of the Year, Best Dentist, and Best Place to Work. She also serves on the Columbia County Chamber Board and Executive Committee, engages in business and healthcare policy efforts, and has completed multiple leadership programs across the region. She holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and is a designated sleep medicine dentist.

Born in Vietnam, Dr. Spicer immigrated to the United States at age five and became a U.S. citizen at age ten. Over her career, she has built multiple healthcare practices and a growing real estate portfolio. Her community involvement includes volunteer work with the Amen Clinic, disaster‑relief support, school partnerships, fundraising participation, and mentoring future healthcare professionals. Her practices also provide scholarships and hands‑on opportunities for students throughout the CSRA.
