Thursday, March 19th, 2026
Ahead of Easter next month, the Salvation Army hosted an event to benefit its campaign for the new Center of Hope.
Posh Tots Children’s Boutique hosted the Hop for Hope event on Sunday afternoon, where kids got photos with the easter bunny.
The new Center of Hope will be built on Hale Street at the former site of the Murray Biscuit Company, which will replace the current location on Greene Street.
The current shelter was originally designed to serve men, long before the growing number of women and families with kids seeking shelter.
