Augusta Approves Planning for Parking Management After End of Downtown Road Work

It’s getting a makeover now, but people downtown say Broad Street will be the place to be, even if you have to pay to park there.
“I think it would be worthwhile. I think it will be good for the community. It shows that those who really care about downtown will pay to do it,” said Andrew Tarr.
Augusta Commissioners approved making plans to manage parking the downtown area after all the orange barrels go away, and some are ready now to have paid parking.
