Golf Week Brings Economic Boost to Augusta Coffee Shops

Golf week brings in three times as much as an average month of hotel spending from tourists in the city.
Restaurants and stores reap the benefits of this week as well. One of those businesses includes Commander Coffee in downtown Augusta.
They are among several coffee shops with a spring menu for golf.
The owner says they added a new drink for this week called the Pierside Palmer, which is a spin on the Arnold Palmer drink with half coffee and half lemonade.
