Where Hooves Meet Harmony: Aiken’s Signature Spring Evening Returns
Thursday, April 16th, 2026
By late April, Aiken is at its most enchanting. The air is warm, the countryside
lush, and the community’s deep-rooted love for both horses and the arts come beautifully together. On the afternoon of Saturday April 25, 2026, that unique combination will once again take center stage when the Friends of the Aiken Symphony present Horses and Harmony V at the stunning Stable View Farms, one of Aiken’s premier Equestrian venues.
Held bi-annually, Horses and Harmony is one of Aiken’s most distinctive and sought-after events. Blending the elegance of classical music with the grace and athleticism of equine performance, the afternoon offers an experience that feels uniquely “Aiken”—a celebration of World Class Music, tradition, and community spirit.
At the heart of the event is the Aiken Symphony, led by Maestro Dr. Scott Weiss, who brings his passion for music and innovative programming to an already extraordinary setting. As the Symphony performs selections of classical music, horses and riders will move in rhythm with the orchestra, creating a seamless dialogue between sound and motion.
Horses and Harmony is a major fundraiser for the Aiken Symphony, supporting its mission to bring high-quality orchestral music to the CSRA and beyond.
Historically sold out, Horses and Harmony is a vital source of support for the
Symphony’s concerts, educational outreach, and future programming.
Guests can expect an elegant yet relaxed afternoon at Stable View Farms.
Admission includes the performance and food (a gourmet grazing table). Wine may be included, depending on the number of tickets purchased. Additional wine will be available for purchase, while water and sodas are complimentary.
Tickets for Horses and Harmony went on sale February 20, 2026, and may be
purchased through the Friends of the Aiken Symphony’s website
(friendsofaikensymphony.org), or the Aiken Symphony’s website
(aikensymphony.com). Both individual tickets and tables will be available, though early purchase is strongly encouraged given the event’s history of selling out.
In addition to ticket sales, sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and individuals who wish to further support the Symphony. All sponsors will be recognized at the event as well as across the Symphony’s social media platforms, offering meaningful visibility while contributing to the cultural life of Aiken.
The event will also feature an online silent auction, allowing attendees and
supporters near and far to bid on a curated selection of items and experiences.
Proceeds from ticket sales, sponsorships, and auction items will directly benefit the Aiken Symphony. Horses and Harmony is more than a performance—it is a reflection of what makes Aiken special. It brings together music lovers, horse enthusiasts, philanthropists, and neighbors for an unforgettable experience. Mark your calendar for an afternoon where artistry takes many forms, and where every note and every hoofbeat supports the enduring legacy of the Aiken Symphony.
