Augusta Mayoral Race Heads to Run-Off Between Garnett Johnson and Steven Kendrick

Augusta’s mayoral race is headed to a run-off between the incumbent Mayor Garnett Johnson and Steven Kendrick.
As of now, election results have come in across all 65 precincts reporting.
Johnson earned 42.80 percent of the vote, getting 16,313 votes. Kendrick received 35.50 percent of the votes, and had 13,531 votes.
