Doctors Hospital Marks Progress on $150M Community Campaign

Doctors Hospital marked a construction milestone Friday as the final beam for two new floors was added to the burn tower.
The beam featured signatures from hospital leadership, doctors, board members and staff before being raised into place.
The construction is part of a $150 million community campaign to expand the hospital. The expansion includes infrastructure and equipment upgrades that will increase capacity. It also adds private patient rooms.
The hospital expects to start operating on the floor a year from now.
