In a year defined by financial challenges for one of Augusta’s most
impactful youth organizations, MEGAH SoftWash is helping the Augusta Boxing Club continue looking its best by providing a complimentary cleaning of the building’s exterior.

The Augusta Boxing Club has long been a staple of the Augusta community, providing youth with a safe haven and structured mentorship. However, recent funding cuts and its exclusion from the local budget have left the organization searching for ways to bridge the gap in operational costs. Recognizing the club’s vital role in the city, MEGAH SoftWash selected the facility as the latest recipient of its “MEGAH on Mission” initiative.

“At MEGAH on Mission, we believe every kid deserves an opportunity, positive guidance, and a place to belong. That’s why we’re proud to support the Augusta Boxing Club and the incredible work they do for inner-city youth in our community,” Andrew Tyson, co-owner of MEGAH SoftWash said. “Boxing is more than a sport, it teaches discipline, confidence, respect, and gives kids a healthy outlet surrounded by people who care about them. We’re honored to play a small part in helping invest in the next generation of Augusta.”

With the Boxing Club’s funding currently in a state of flux, the donation from MEGAH SoftWash allows them to redirect their limited resources toward programming and athlete support rather than facility upkeep.
