Pursuant to Georgia law, the County Board of Education of Richmond County hereby informs all Richmond County residents of the following FY 2027 Board of Education budget meeting dates which will be held in the School System’s board room, 864 Broad Street, Augusta, GA. Time will be made available for public input at the two public hearing meetings.

In addition, the budgets are available on the School System’s website: http://www.rcboe.org/finance.

• May 12, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. – Initial Budget Presentation – Adoption of Tentative Budget
• May 26, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. – 1st Public Hearing on Budget
• June 2, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. – 2nd Public Hearing on Budget
• June 16, 2026, Regular Board meeting following Committee meeting at 4:00 p.m. – Adoption of the Final Budget
