For the month of May, the Salvation Army of Augusta is partnering with Frog & the Hen to host a community-wide donation drive.

For the whole month, the organization is collecting individually packaged snacks such as granola bars, trail mix, chips, crackers, and drinks. The items are used to create snack packs for clients, providing children with something to take to school and helping parents stay nourished while at work or attending appointments.

On average, the Salvation Army of Augusta serves around 100 individuals each day through meals and snack packs at the Center of Hope.

In addition to serving as a donation location, Frog & the Hen, 466 Flowing Wells Rd, is giving back in another way.
