Augusta Symphony hosts Fourth Annual Music Therapy Showcase
Monday, July 27th, 2026
Augusta Symphony’s Community Chords is celebrating Disability Pride Month with its fourth annual Music Therapy Showcase.
Augusta Symphony is celebrating downtown at the Miller Theater, and this event will showcase all the hard work and dedication individuals have put into this showcase over the past few months.
“Disability Pride Month, is a month where we recognize the contributions and the talents and the meaningfulness that disabled folks bring to our community. And of course, in music therapy, I’m working with disabled adults here in the CSRA. And so, it was a really good match to bring music and disability pride together for an event.”, said Veronica Andreassen-Barker, Board Certified Music Therapist at Augusta Symphony.
