The Youth Leadership Augusta selection committee has completed the selection process for the Youth Leadership Augusta Class of 2027. The Class of 2027 is comprised of 36 outstanding high school students representing 12 public, private, and charter high schools from across the CSRA. The selection process is highly competitive each year due to the exceptional quality of applicants and their demonstrated commitment to leadership, academics, service, and community involvement.

Youth Leadership Augusta, a leadership development program of the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce, has been empowering high school students across the CSRA for more than 20 years by identifying, educating, and inspiring emerging leaders. Through monthly sessions, hands-on experiences, and leadership development activities, students explore the region's businesses, industries, government, education, healthcare, nonprofit organizations, and community resources while building the skills, confidence, and relationships needed to become engaged and effective leaders. Since its inception, hundreds of students from public, private, and charter schools have completed the program, forming lasting friendships and networks before pursuing higher education, successful careers, and leadership roles throughout the CSRA and beyond. By investing in these students, Youth Leadership Augusta continues to help shape the future of our region through civic engagement and community leadership.
