Georgia Gas Prices 88 Cents More Per Gallon Than Last Year

Georgia gas prices are inching up again, rising 3 cents over the past week, according to AAA.
The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is $3.79, which is seven cents higher than last month. A year ago, gas prices averaged below $3 a gallon at $2.91, an 88-cent difference, according to AAA.
"Georgia drivers are seeing gas prices climb again as global oil markets react to ongoing uncertainty in the Middle East," said Montrae Waiters, spokeswoman for AAA – The Auto Club Group.
