New Debt Forgiveness Program Helps Former Paine Students

Starting this fall semester, Paine College is giving former students another opportunity to return to school and complete degrees that were left unfinished.

The college is accepting applications from former students who had to pause their education because of financial hardship, including those who were left with unpaid institutional balances.

For some college students, earning a degree isn’t about ability but it’s about being able to afford to finish. Paine College is now offering a debt forgiveness program that would remove the stress from of the financial barrier that many students face.

Students who are approved for the program could have their outstanding Paine College balances cleared completely, that prevented students to return for a following semester or completing their matriculation.
