Augusta University’s campus is busy this week as new students move into their dorms ahead of the new 2026-2027 school year.

Move-in day started Tuesday, August 11th and families, volunteers, as well as university staff are all working to get students settled in for the school year.

Augusta University incoming freshman, Gabriella Rhyne, tells Channel 6, “I’m excited. I live sort of in a smaller town, so there’s busier roads I have to get used to. That’s a bigger change, and I’m ready for it, so it’s okay. [The move-in process] Pretty easy I mean there’s a ton of people helping and there’s all these signs. It’s been great.”.
