America's Warrior Partnership (AWP), a national nonprofit that connects veterans, their families and caregivers to resources in communities across all 50 states and U.S. territories, has partnered with veteran-owned Commander Coffee to launch Champion Blend. For every bag sold, 20% will go directly to AWP to help connect more veterans and families to the support they've earned.

The limited-time blend unites two veteran-focused organizations rooted in Augusta around a shared mission: serving those who served.

Jim Lorraine, AWP president and CEO said, “This partnership gives people a simple way to enjoy some good coffee and learn about the work we do, while helping us reach more veterans and families who may need a connection to resources. We’re grateful to Commander Coffee for helping us bring the mission to life in a unique way.”

Champion Blend takes its name from AWP’s Know a Vet? Tell a Vet!® initiative, which encourages veterans and community members to spread the word about AWP so more veterans can find their way to support. The campaign’s message is simple: a connection can be the first step toward getting help.

“Coffee has a way of bringing people together, and that’s exactly what we hope this partnership does,” said Randy Bradum, retired Navy officer and owner of Commander Coffee. “Champion Blend is about more than what’s in the cup- it’s about creating another opportunity for veterans to find connection and support.”

Champion Blend is available through the end of 2026, a timely offering as communities head into the fall and winter months. The partnership reflects AWP’s community-based approach to identifying veterans in need and connecting them with the right resources — and shows how local businesses can help drive that mission forward.
