New Augusta Transit Deal Boosts Wages, Lowers Health Care Costs

The Transport Workers Union of America reached a deal with Augusta Transit employees.
The news release stated that in a new three year agreement, starting wages increased to $20 per hour, wages will increase for all workers and job titles and a $1000 bonus.
