Primark, the international fashion retailer that offers the latest trends and everyday essentials at great value prices, today announced it will open its second store in Georgia on September 10 at the Augusta Mall in Augusta, bringing Primark to 48 total US locations.

The Augusta Mall location will boast 28,000 square feet of retail selling space, offering Primark's quality fashion at great value prices to more shoppers in Georgia. The Augusta Mall opening comes the same week as Primark's first Georgia location at Sugarloaf Mills in Lawrenceville, opening on September 8.

"Primark is excited for a busy week in Georgia as it opens not one but two new stores in the state. We can't wait to open doors and offer area residents Primark's signature combination of trending style and everyday essentials, all at affordable prices," said Kevin Tulip, President of Primark US. "We know that Primark's outstanding value is more important than ever to today's consumers, and we're looking forward to welcoming customers in the culturally rich and historic city of Augusta."

Opening festivities will kick off at 12pm on September 10. Shoppers can expect fun for the whole family, with a live DJ, tasty local treats and giveaways, first come, first served. Primark offers trend-forward fashion looks and everyday essentials all at affordable prices including women's denim starting at $12, men's tees at $5, and girl's and boy's sweatshirts at $8. Georgia super fans can also find gear from their favorite teams, including the Atlanta Hawks and Falcons, starting at $16.

Primark knows Georgia shoppers want to make their clothes last longer, but often just need a little help getting started. Shoppers attending the Augusta Mall opening can participate in a "Love It for Longer" repair workshop, a free 90 minute in-store workshop that teaches simple mending and upcycling techniques, from fixing hems to adding buttons or pockets. The workshops will be held on Friday, September 11 at 1:30pm and 4:00pm. No experience is required, and attendees will leave with a complimentary sewing kit and reusable tote bag.
