Columbia County, GA and Blanchard Woods BMX are excited to once again welcome the 2026 USA BMX Southeast Gold Cup Championship to Blanchard Woods Park on Friday September 25 – Sunday September 27. The three day championship is expected to bring more than 400 racers, along with their families and supporters, to Columbia County and generate approximately $500,000 in local economic impact.

Columbia County, GA and Blanchard Woods BMX will be hosting the Southeast Gold Cup event for the fifth time, following previous events in 2015, 2018, 2021 and 2024. The championship’s continued return to Blanchard Woods Park highlights Columbia County’s reputation as a destination for regional and national sporting events.

The USA BMX Gold Cup Championship Series brings riders together from across their respective regions throughout the season, culminating in regional Gold Cup finals where competitors race for the opportunity to earn the prestigious Gold Cup 1, 2 and 3 plates.

Race & Schedule Highlights:

Friday September 25 – registration and practice begin at 1:00 PM, opening ceremonies at 4:40 PM and racing begins at 5:00 PM

Saturday September 26 – registration and practice begin at 7:30 AM, racing begins at 11:30 AM Sunday September 27 – Racing begins at 8:00 AM.

Spectators are encouraged to visit Blanchard Woods Park throughout the weekend to experience championship BMX racing and welcome competitors and their families to Columbia County.
