Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Tuesday, October 20th, 2026

As local employers continue to hire and many residents look for stable, long-term careers, Goodwill of Middle Georgia is bringing both together for one day of connection and opportunity.

Goodwill will host its Fall 2026 Job and Resource Fair on Tuesday, October 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Snelling Conference Center, 3165 Washington Road.

The free event connects job seekers with employers who are actively hiring and valuable career resources to help them move forward with confidence.

“We are grateful to the sponsors, employers, and community partners who make this event possible,” said Leah Pontani Small, Chief Mission Officer at Goodwill of Middle Georgia and the CSRA. “Whether someone is exploring a new career, pursuing a leadership opportunity, or looking for their first job, this event offers a chance to connect directly with employers who are ready to hire. We’re also bringing together resources for those who may need additional support along the way. Our goal is for everyone to leave with meaningful connections, clear next steps, and confidence in the opportunities ahead.”
