Your Voice Matters: Augusta Zoning Ordinance Survey - Survey Deadline: November 1st
Wednesday, October 14th, 2026
Augusta, Georgia Planning & Development is inviting residents, business owners, property owners, and community stakeholders to share their thoughts as Augusta updates its zoning regulations for the first time since 1963.
Zoning regulates how properties within different geographic zones can be developed and used, including what types of buildings are allowed and what activities can take place.
As Augusta works to modernize its zoning regulations, public feedback is an important part of ensuring future development reflects the community’s vision and long-term planning goals while protecting public health, safety, and welfare.
“This process reflects Augusta, Georgia Government’s commitment to transparency, meaningful community engagement, and thoughtful planning,” said Director Adleasia Cameron. “We want to hear from our residents, property owners, business owners, and community stakeholders to help ensure the final zoning ordinance reflects the needs and vision of Augusta.”
Your input helps shape a better Augusta by telling us what you would like to see in your community. The survey takes only a few minutes to complete, and responses are anonymous.
