Augusta Business Owner Named Georgia's Small Business Person of the Year

Patrick Wells, president of Piedmont Landscape Management, has been named Georgia’s Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Wells and his wife took over the Augusta-based company in 2019, building on its foundation since its original launch in 1977. Under his leadership, Piedmont has grown into a leading commercial landscaping provider, offering services that range from irrigation and landscape installations to seasonal lighting.
