Be Something Diph4rent is proud to announce that Donny Carswell, a dedicated educator known for his innovative teaching strategies and unwavering passion, has advanced to the quarter finals of the prestigious America's Favorite Teacher competition.

Donny Carswell, who provides weekly support to students and teachers across Richmond County, has been recognized for his exceptional contributions to education. Recently featured on Good Morning America, Donny received a $10,000 grant from DonorsChoose, won a grant from Jefferson Energy Cooperative, and was honored with the Golden Apple Award.

"Teaching allows me to help students exceed their expectations, unlocking their potential and achieving what they once thought impossible," said Donny Carswell. His commitment to empowering the youth of Augusta, GA, is evident in his mentoring efforts and his dedication to providing students with opportunities to explore their options and become law-abiding, productive, and educated citizens.

Donny's unique strategies, passion, and energy have made a significant impact on students across the county. He strives to give them the tools they need to succeed and thrive in their communities, making a positive impact on their lives and the world around them.

If Donny wins the competition, he plans to reward students who pass the End of Course (EOC) test with a trip to Washington, D.C., and create a Social Studies Competition. His commitment to mentoring extends beyond the classroom, helping select students navigate the next steps in life after graduation.

Donny Carswell is also the founder of Be Something Diph4rent LLC, an organization that provides youth with guidance and helps them develop skills to overcome adversity and achieve their dreams.

Voting for Donny Carswell begins Monday, April 7, and continues until April 17.
